Flashback: California Wild

Dec 25, 2012 by

It has taken me several days of being home, of not getting out of my pyjamas, of many glasses of wine,  of many hours of gossip with girlfriends, and piles and piles of delicious food and chocolate, but I’m starting to feel human again after that first term of optometry school that has left me feeling nothing less than shell shocked.
I was too high strung to even try to feel creative until a couple of days ago. And then there it was, that warm feeling of excitement I get when creative inspiration hits me in the gut.
So I made this video.
[vimeo http://vimeo.com/56221773]
All the video was taken in California during my trip there this past June.
The two songs featured in the video are Damned To Hell by John Butler Trio and Prison Blues by Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Cootie Stark & Neal “Big Daddy” Pattman. These songs in no way reflect my sentiment on camping.
I’ll let you decide if that was sarcasm.
Merry Christmas everyone!
