Home For The Holidays
Don’t let these photos fool you. I didn’t go home and spend 20 days being fabulous and glamourous. The first thing I did was park my rear on my parents’ couch and eat all the leftovers in the fridge I could find. Then I proceeded to demolish about 60% of the Christmas chocolate on the coffee table. I then promptly changed into sweatpants. The next day I probably slept in until noon.
So, no, I’m not one of those bloggers we all love to hate (or hate to love?). You know the kind, the ones who galavant around looking cute, doing cute things, wearing cute outfits. Cute, cute, cute.
I just didn’t take pictures of all the sweatpants days. And let me tell you, there were a lot.
It is nice, however, to look back on these photos and remember that I did do something other than lounge like a boss while I was at home. I spent some very valuable time with my cousins, with my grandparents, with my boyfriend and with a few select friends. I made sure not to spread myself too thin, and my first priority for those 20 days was looking after numero uno, yours truly.
Now I’m back at it, with a new set of faces around me, a different routine, and a little less food in the fridge. It’s not better or worse, just different. This term is already proving to be very interesting, and I know the next 3 months will not disappoint.
Tonight I’m going to Toronto for a little adventure. Stay tuned for that!
